Na coletiva com Mark London, Brice Lalonde diz que espera que a Rio+20 chegue a um acordo e soluções que permitam aos governos atingirem, em 20 anos, os objetivos em torno de um desenvolvimento sustentável. Disse ainda que não acredita num esvaziamento do encontro, porque o interesse e o envolvimento de empresas, lideranças locais e da sociedade, forçam o comprometimento dos governantes mundiais.
