Shark Lives! We’re very excited to screen our film in Chicago on 3/11/17 as part of the fantastic One Earth Film Festival. There will be a Q&A with director Cidney Hue as well as Amy Rosenthal of the MacArthur Foundation’s Amazon and Andes programs. Arrive 60 min early and stay after for a unique virtual reality experience of Conservation International’s short film, “Under the Canopy.” Refreshments will be available for purchase. Shark Loves the Amazon, will be screened at Millikin on Monday, March 4, at 7:30 p.m. in Albert Taylor Theatre. A question and answer session will follow the film presentation, which explores critical issues in the Amazon region, including the decimation of its rain forest. The event is Millikin’s 2013 James W. Moore Lecture and is free and open to the public; no reservations or tickets required.
